Valkerie is a four piece alternative rock band hailing from the forest canopies of Portland, OR. It's a space for big feelings to be expressed dramatically. Frontwoman, Rachel Peters, brings tender, thunderous lyricism and melodies to guitarist, Dan Bacon, to make them as big as they can be. Drummer, Jordan VanSise, and bassist, Bradley Dirlam, come together to drive the stories home. At their core, these friends all share a deep desire to be unapologetically themselves- whether in the form of genre bending, or being unapologetically melancholic. a They bring lyrical and sonic inspiration from the likes of Paramore, The Cranberries, and Halsey. Valkerie ereleased their debut EP "Prelude" in January of 2025, recorded and engineered almost exclusively by the band, with Rachel and Dan being the producers of the record. In their future, Valkerie is already in the works of their next project, debuting some of the new material at shows.

About Al's Den

Head downstairs at the Crystal Hotel to hang out in this venue named for Al Winter, Portland's 1940's gambling overlord. Enjoy a craft libation in this intimate, speakeasy-style space where live music and comedy fill the air.

Sunday-Thursday, 3-10pm
Friday-Saturday, 3pm-midnight

Happy Hour served Sunday-Thursday, 3-6pm
(21 and over only after 5 pm)
